Missing: one black boot, size 11.5, last seen on my bedroom floor. Reward for return.
What the fuck? How does an entire shoe go missing? It wasn't as if I had a wild party last night. Things happen in those circumstances. Lost a whole pair of trousers once, but that's another story for another time. I NEED MY BOOT. Yes, I have others, but they're my favourites. This is most distressing.
Unlike some of us who are lamenting books, this is actually something useful. I miss my boot. Looks like I'm going to have to wear these bloody trainers. Or crawl into bed and hug my remaining boot to make sure he doesn't slip away from me.
It was in the bathtub. I don't even fucking know.
